Feeding everyone at City Museum

November 12, 2007

On Wednesday there’s a rare chance to get free admission to the City Museum. Just bring a nonperishable food item (one per person) for the St. Louis Area Foodbank between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. and you’re in. Once you’ve contributed people-food, check out the other feeding going on:  stream life, turtles, freshwater fish, sharks and stingrays (see a schedule at the City Museum site).  There’s also a special Thanksgiving-themed toddler program from 10 a.m. to noon and a circus show at 11 a.m.

The museum, as always, has been adding cool features.  Although some of our friends are scared off by the fact that their kids invariably get dirty and banged up there, I just pack extra Band-Aids and wipes and remind myself that the big bruise on S.’s forehead is from falling off a stool in the kitchen!
