Toddler mornings at City Museum

April 14, 2009

I love that City Museum is now open every day. I love the new Wurlitzer Organ area. I fully expect to love the new rooftop attractions when I finally get up there. And had I known about the “Mornings at the Museum” program when it started back in February, I would have loved taking S. to that too! But you still have a couple of weeks — tomorrow and the following two Wednesdays (Apr. 15, 22 and 29) to take your kids age 3 and younger to the museum from 10:30 to 11 a.m. They get in free (you don’t, sorry!) and have a halfway quiet opportunity to explore the fascinating nooks and crannies without big kids mowing them over.

Each session includes an art project and corresponding story or song. The action then moves to a part of the museum where the kids will continue to explore that day’s theme. Reservations should be made by e-mailing Groups@CityMuseum.org or calling 314-231-2489 ext 601.
